Anker Bak is a Danish furniture designer who works closely with Japanese partners. He believes that every time a person uses a product, dignity is on the line. His site needed the same care.

We turned Johanne Lian Olsen’s visual design into a functional one, built around a split front page with two scrolling columns: text on the left, a gallery of his designs on the right. Important text is there twice, in English and Japanese, so there is no language selector to find. His designs and publications live in Sanity, and the Next.js frontend picks them up, so Anker easily adds new work himself.
