Ekolab is a firm of consulting engineers in Aarhus working on energy, indoor climate and sustainability, with the stated aim of pushing the building industry in a better direction. Their seven values each have their own symbol, and we built the site around them.

In design sprints, we turned Ekolab’s seven values into a set of green symbols that run through the whole site, from the service page headers to the values grid on the about page. Each reference gets its own page with discipline tags, the client, the location and the partners. The site runs on a modern JS framework with a custom Sanity backend, so the team adds references, publishes articles and switches the announcement bar on and off themselves.

We’ve had a close and trusting collaboration, with competent guidance all the way through, so we were steered in exactly the right direction.
