SocWeld makes software for the welding industry, where people used to mark every welding point in an image by hand, one at a time. We trained a model to do that work, and it never sends an image out of the building.

The model is a computer-vision system built in Python and PyTorch, trained to find welding points straight from the images SocWeld’s users already work with. It runs on SocWeld’s own server, so production images stay on-premises and never touch the cloud. Most points are mapped before anyone opens the file.
