At Creative Oak, we collaborated with Arman Motlagh, WhoMadeWho’s Brand Manager, to create a visual expression that matches the band’s unique and energetic musical universe. Our goal was to unite WhoMadeWho’s electronic, rock, and jazz-inspired sounds with a visual identity that resonates with both loyal fans and new listeners.
WhoMadeWho is known for pushing musical boundaries and constantly evolving their sound. Their website therefore needed to accommodate everything from brand-new releases and merchandise to information about the band members, all while presenting a professional yet creative overall impression. Without a cohesive digital platform, the band’s global fans could easily miss out on the full WhoMadeWho experience.
We developed a modern and user-friendly website built for e-commerce, allowing fans to easily purchase clothing and merchandise. The site integrates a new logo and design created by Spacon & X, and we used the Druk Wide typeface to highlight the band’s distinctive visual identity. At the same time, the website ensures clear communication of WhoMadeWho’s music, story, and events—offering visitors a cohesive and inspiring glimpse into the band’s universe.
The result is a dynamic platform that allows WhoMadeWho to present their music and universe in a way that engages and excites their audience. Fans can now shop the band’s merchandise directly from the website, and the band can share upcoming concerts, collaborations, and news—all within a visual environment that radiates both professionalism and playful creativity.
